ÂVelayudham secrets revealed

Busy with the works related to ÂVelayudhamÂ, his first film with Vijay which is to be launched at a grand function in Chennai today, director ÂJayam Raja has revealed some interesting details on the movie.
ÂIt is a film for the masses. Based on a story by late director Tirupathisamy, ÂVelayudham revolves around an ordinary man, who becomes a real hero for the sake of people, Raja says.
ÂVijay plays an enterprising youngster while Genelia is doing the role of a journalist, the director says and adds: ÂHansika Motwani and Saranya Mohan are also doing crucial characters. Comedy will be taken care of by Santhanam and Sathyan.Â
Saying Vijay Antony has come out with catchy songs, Raja continues: Âthis is the first time for me to direct a big hero like Vijay. The decision (to work with Vijay) was made since he fits well to the role, which is about a larger than life personality.Â
